Job Description

Ledgent is working with a client to find their next executive leader! This role is with a small company wearing multiple hats (MUST be okay doing full-cycle accounting as well as HR/Administrative work).

Direct Hire. Compensation varies depending upon skillsets, experience, etc. but ideally in the range of $120,000-$130,000 (will flex up to $145k+ if needed). NO Bonus. Fully on-site.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee A/R, A/P, payroll, and general ledger functions with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow projections
  • Reconcile bank and account activity; monitor receivables, payables, and overall cash flow
  • Support budgeting, audits, and profitability analysis for business initiatives and proposals
  • Maintain inventory records across multiple locations and ensure proper documentation of internal transfers
  • Assist with tax filings, compliance reporting, and coordination with external auditors
  • Manage vendor and customer onboarding, documentation, and reconciliation processes
  • Provide administrative and operational support to leadership, including tracking KPIs and preparing reports
  • Coordinate aspects of HR, including recruitment support, onboarding, and employee engagement activities
  • Liaise with external partners for IT support, insurance, and other essential services
  • Ensure efficient office operations including systems, contracts, and vendor management
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives to improve processes and support team culture
  • Act as a cross-functional business support resource, ensuring timely follow-through on organizational needs

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree
  • 7+ years of full-cycle accounting experience (2+ in a similar Controller level capacity)
  • Advanced Excel User
  • Comfortable working in a small company setting, wearing multiple hats (HR/Admin, Accounting, etc.).
